Tracey Brent-ChessumAdjunct Instructor, Theater Studies

Tracey Brent-Chessum (she/her) holds a PhD in Theatre and Performance Studies from the University of Maryland, in addition to masters degrees in Choral Conducting and the Humanities. Her research settles on musical theatre history between 1880-1940, and how musical theatre seeks to define the "American" from the stage. She is currently teaching Theatre History 1 for Emory.
