Ashley AlvesProgram Coordinator, Theater Studies

Biography

Ashley Alves (she/her) graduated from Emory University in 2024 with a Bachelor of Arts in both Theater Studies and Philosophy, Politics, and Law (PPL). During her time at Emory, she performed in numerous productions, including Little Shop of Horrors and Our Town. Driven by a passion for advocacy, Ashley served as a Student Theater Representative, where she focused on bridging the gap between students, faculty, and staff.
 
Upon graduation, she received The Fine Award in Theater Studies, an honor bestowed by the faculty for outstanding ability in acting. Ashley also spent her undergraduate years working closely with the Atlanta Urban Debate League, teaching policy debate to local students—an experience she credits for her love of education. Ashley is excited to combine her expertise in performance, outreach, and advocacy in her new role as Program Coordinator.
